Science and Technology – Grade 6

Science and Technology is a heritage-based course for Grade 6 learners, built on the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education’s 2024-2030 Junior Science and Technology syllabus. It connects Zimbabwe’s cultural heritage with the wonders of the natural and technological world, encouraging learners to investigate, innovate and solve everyday problems through hands-on, learner-centred activities.

Across eight topics, learners explore health and hygiene, food and nutrition, crops and animals, environmental conservation, tools and implements, energy and fuels, disaster preparedness, and educational technology — building both scientific understanding and practical, indigenous knowledge.
