Science and Technology – Grade 7

Science and Technology is a heritage-based course for Grade 7 learners, built on the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education’s 2024-2030 Junior Science and Technology syllabus. It builds on the Grade 6 course, connecting Zimbabwe’s cultural heritage with the wonders of the natural and technological world, and encouraging learners to investigate, innovate and solve everyday problems through hands-on, learner-centred activities.

Across eight topics, learners explore health and hygiene, food and nutrition, crops and animals, environmental conservation, tools and implements, energy and fuels, disaster preparedness, and educational technology — building both scientific understanding and practical, indigenous knowledge.
